Reach the people who decide what work feels like

Inclusion Bites is a weekly conversation about inclusion, belonging and human connection, hosted by Joanne Lockwood. Its listeners are HR and people leaders, DEI practitioners and the leaders they advise — a small, specific room of people whose job is changing how organisations treat human beings.

Who is listening

HR and people leaders

The people who write the policy, run the hiring and own the culture — listening for what actually works, not theory.

DEI and inclusion practitioners

Specialists building programmes inside organisations, often as a team of one, looking for language and evidence they can use.

Leaders and founders

Decision-makers who have realised culture is a business problem and want the practical version of the conversation.

People with lived experience

Listeners who hear themselves in these stories — neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, disabled, and anyone who has felt outside the room.

Full audience figures — downloads, growth, geography and the episodes that travel furthest — are in the media kit. Ask and it comes straight back to you.

Why a placement here works

A tight, self-selected room

Nobody stumbles into a podcast about inclusion by accident. Every listener chose the topic, and most stay for the full conversation — attention a scrollable ad never gets.

A host read carries trust

Joanne has spent six years and 200+ episodes earning the audience's confidence. A recommendation in her voice lands as a tip from someone they know.

A back catalogue that keeps working

Episodes are indexed, transcribed and searchable, and older ones are downloaded every week. A placement keeps being heard long after release week.

Weekly, without fail

A new episode every Thursday morning. Predictable enough to plan a campaign around.

Ways to work together

Host-read placement

Joanne reads your message in her own words — pre-roll, mid-roll or end-roll — in a single episode or across a run. Written together so it sounds like the show, not an advert dropped into it.

Series partner

Your brand alongside a themed run of episodes, with the association carried through the show notes, episode pages and social posts.

Episode page and show notes

A tracked link on the episode's page and in the notes that reach every podcast app — including the searchable transcript and chapters.

Something else

Live recordings, an event partnership, a co-produced mini-series. If you have an idea that fits the audience, start a conversation.

Rates depend on placement and run length, and every partnership is priced honestly against real numbers — no guessed figures, no inflated reach. Tell us who you are trying to reach and we will tell you straight whether this audience is it.

A note on fit

This show exists to make workplaces more human, and its audience trusts it to be honest. That means we are careful about who we partner with: brands whose product or practice we would recommend anyway, and who can stand behind their own inclusion story. If that is you, the conversation will be easy. If it is not, we will say so kindly and early — which is better for everyone.

How we work with sponsors

The audience is the reason a placement here is worth anything, so protecting their trust is also how we protect your investment. These are our standing commitments — to listeners and to you.

Always clearly labelled

Every sponsored episode says so — announced in the audio and marked in the show notes, in every podcast app. Listeners always know what they are hearing.

Editorial stays with us

Sponsors do not choose guests, shape questions, review the episode before release, or approve what a guest says. The conversation is the conversation.

We only read what we would say

Host reads are written together, but the final words are Joanne's. We will not read a claim we cannot stand behind, and we will suggest better wording rather than deliver a script that does not sound like her.

Fit before fee

We decline partnerships that would not serve the audience, including ones we would like the money from. That is what makes the ones we do accept worth something.

These are our editorial principles, not contract terms. Commercial terms — fees, schedule, deliverables and cancellation — are set out in the insertion order we agree before anything is recorded.

Let's talk

Tell us about your brand, who you are trying to reach and roughly when. Joanne reads every enquiry herself.
